Old habits, die hard. New ones, begin harder.

someecards.com - If I had a blog, I'd write a reasonably pleasant post about you

STARTING anything would always be either one of two things:

(1) TOO EASY - As though rain clouds of inspiration flooded the world and you happen to be standing in the middle of an empty pool or excavation site; consequently making everything 10000x easier like an inspired Sim that has all the perks of getting the job done while earning all those extra coins, XPs, and collectibles. Yes, that awkward moment when you stop playing Sims after you’ve helped your virtual alter ego “figure everything out” and you start realizing your Sim has more life or talent than you do.

someecards.com - There are no limits to what you can accomplish when you are supposed to be doing something else.

Starting is painless, rash, and usually bound to a promise of continuing an endeavor so well-begun with an undying belief in its success. Soon the excitement wears off that it gets sickening as though is has turned into a burdensome obligation, making it seem best to rid one’s self from it as soon as possible.

someecards.com - It's not you, it's me finally realizing you're terrible for me

OR it could be..

(2) TOO DIFFICULT - That nothing ever gets accomplished for the lack of balls to make a decision and simply start, putting everything off to the comforts of tomorrow when one apparently is to be wiser than “today”.

someecards.com - Don't give up on the dreams you never had

Extreme laziness is excluded from the equation though. I’m talking about a burning desire to start something but failing to do so cause you just can’t or you simply find it too difficult for personal reasons which you find out later on to be immaterial. The question of how and where to begin, in this case, has been mulled over for so long that it’s left to mere contemplation.

someecards.com - I bet you'll meet someone as soon as you stop thinking about it, which is to say, probably never

Either way, the sincerity (no matter how little) would always be there and more often than not we eventually go through whatever we wanted to do anyway. I’m simply referring to our attitude towards the undertaking or the length of time we’re actually committed to such for it to deserve the merits of our time and effort in mentally planning its success.

someecards.com - I've almost decided whether or not I'm attracted to you

The beginning, as I have recently come to accept, is harder than end. I, being the easily attached little girl that I am, had always dreaded the end of things.

someecards.com - Sorry your vacation will eventually end

I’m talking about things drawing to a close, no turning back in the pillar of salt kind of thing, and not merely alterations to what we’ve been accustomed to. I’m a fan of positive changes, that’s the “good” kind which isn’t really the end things anyway. I never welcomed the end as an old friend but gladly I have come to terms with it. My maturity just leveled up, byaaatch. I now welcome it with open arms and bag of humor.

someecards.com - You always cease to amaze me.

The temptation to revert back to what’s familiar would always linger but as convenient as it is to run back, it never really got us anywhere.

someecards.com - I'm not going to spend more than several months chasing you

It’s hard to see success in beginnings, you have to adapt to so many things, start from scratch just because you pulled the wrong Jenga block. You’re the new student, first date, empty blue book, off scale map, unknown road, blank canvass, exhausted bank account, or unwritten love letter.

The pressure to start things right, to make it work, to make it perfect builds up in your little head. We fear the uncharted territory so much just to find out it wasn’t as terrifying as we thought it be. Merely overrated.

someecards.com - There are too many fish in the sea

Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try and trying entails starting now, today, pronto, right away, this instant or quick enough, before someone else steals it away from you hahaha. For new habits to develop, we have to consciously start doing it. Though how hard the beginning, set your eyes straight on the prize, it’ll have good endings if you believe and work hard enough. Yes, this is me being ecstatic about something I’ve always wanted to do but never did.. until recently. Sorry little pet, your period has prescribed and since you wanted to play chess, here’s a checkmate :)

someecards.com - I'd like to begin the awkward climb towards our former friendship before I confessed my love for you

Since I was filled with work load today, I wasn’t able to send anyone good morning messages. Instead, I received the sweetest and funniest good morning texts I had in a while. It feels good and it definitely made my day :) I love it when my people I know show me their sweeter side, I could just hug them tight forever and ever hahaha. Don’t worry, even without my messages, I wish you guys well everyday :)

Something I saw on Twitter: A good morning text does not only mean ‘good morning’. It has a silent, loving message that says: I think of you when I wake up and I hope nothing makes you frown today. - via Ithinkthatway :) Exactly what my good morning texts mean, hoping it means the same for the others :)

Oh and since I’m about to doze off, GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE haha :P

Grabbed dessert at Pages Deli with the girls. Goodness, how I adore themed shops, cafes, and restaurants ♥ Aside from the yummy looking menu, there’s just something about this place that’s so romantic and pretty. Great for get-togethers, sweet dates, or bonding time with your favorite book or journal! Book quotes from the classics are even printed on their menu, walls, mirrors, windows, and drinking glasses. Plus a print out of a quote for every meal! They have vintage stuff scattered around the place too for your dose of inspiration - a pretty sight don’t you think? :P

You could visit them anytime of the day for coffee or wine. They specialize in gourmet sandwiches but they also serve pasta, soups, salads, and cakes. You could even purchase imported cheese and sausages! Their menu is definitely a must-try checklist :) Since my friends and I had heavy dinner, we just munched on Belgian Chocolate and Magnolia Cakes.

It’s cute and funny how we always end up wearing matching clothes or colors no matter where we are without even talking about it HAHA :) It was nice seeing you lovely girls! I love this photo of us HAHA. High five to all our memories! You guys always give me a good laugh. See you again soon xxx

Pages Deli could be found at The Streetscape, Shangri-la Plaza Mall, Metro Manila, PH | Open from 10am - 12mn on weekends and 11am - 11pm on weekdays | Contact number (02) 447-4718 :)

Shouldn’t we hold out for the person who doesn’t just tolerate our little quirks but actually kinda likes them? - Ted, HIMYM | True that! HAHA ♥

If you are chilly, here take my sweater
Your head is aching, I’ll make it better
Cause I love the way you call me baby
And you take me the way I am
I’d buy you Rogaine when you
start losing all your hair

Sew on patches to all you tear
Cause I love you more than I could ever promise
And you take me the way I am

Days when you suddenly want to cut your hair short, finish a whole case of beer, and smoke..even when you’ve never done any of those your whole life.
A current read: The History of Love by Nicole Krauss :)
“Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.”
“If I had a camera,’ I said, ‘I’d take a picture of you every day. That way I’d remember how you looked every single day of your life.”
“…there are two types of people in the world: those who prefer to be sad among others, and those who prefer to be sad alone.”
“Holding hands, for example, is a way to remember how it feels to say nothing together.”
“One thing I am never going to do when I grow up is fall in love, drop out of college, learn to subsist on water and air, have a species named after me, and ruin my life.”
